Laser Logistics delivers DreamKits
As the World Cup draws closer with each passing day, the soccer dreams of
Team sponsors (and their schools) included the Cape Town International Convention Centre Kenmere Girls), Cape Town Partnership and CCID (Zeekoeivlei Boys and Lotus River Boys), Century City and Crystal Towers (Marconi Beam Boys and Girls), Claremont Improvement District Company (Red River Boys), Growthpoint Properties (Mvula Girls), Old Mutual (Factreton Girls), The Laser Group (Nobantu Girls), and Webber Wentzel Attorneys (Wingfield Girls).
The Dreamfields Project is a section-21 company — not for profit — was launched in October 2007 as an efficient way that reaches the most remote corners of our country. “We believe soccer is a team game, and teams build better schools — so we provide DreamBags, full sets of kit, to schools across the country. We believe people love sharing, and so we stage DreamEvents to celebrate the spirit of soccer. And we believe that lasting change must transform the places where children play — and so we are helping to restore soccer fields wherever we can”, says John Perlman, CEO of the Dreamfields Project.
Laser sponsored a DreamBag to Nobantu Girls, who as stated above, won the DeamFields championship on the day. Their DreamBag, containing top quality soccer balls, boots and Laser-branded and numbered shirts, shorts and socks. The inspiration provided by the DreamBag is priceless – a DreamBag transforms a group of shy youngsters into a confident team of ten-foot-tall footballers.
