The broadening of the service offering of Laser Logistics to accommodate a project logistics element has enabled the company to support Schenker SA in the logistics fulfillment of the FIFA Confederations Cup.

The Confederations Cup project has entailed fulfillment in the months of May, June and July and has included dedicated “high security” warehousing of in excess of 1000 sqm as well as a range of dedicated distribution activity supporting team cargo movement, stadium and venue set-up and servicing. Product moved has varied significantly in nature, size, weight and value – from broadcasting equipment to digital advertising boards to catering equipment, security fencing etc.
